Frequently Asked Questions - About Tattoos

Please reach us at lindentattoo@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Pain levels vary from person to person and also depend on the body area. Fleshier areas tend to hurt less, while bony spots (like ribs or wrists) may feel more sensitive. We always aim to keep you as comfortable as possible.

The outer layer of skin usually heals in 1–2 weeks, while full healing may take 4–6 weeks. During this time, avoid direct sun, swimming, and scratching.

• Keep the tattoo clean and dry for the first few days.

• Apply a thin layer of the recommended aftercare ointment.

• Do not pick or scratch scabs.

• Avoid swimming, saunas, and prolonged sun exposure.

Tattoos may lighten slightly over the years due to skin regeneration and sun exposure. Proper aftercare and sun protection will help preserve the vibrancy of your tattoo.

Yes. We follow NSW Public Health regulations, using single-use sterile needles, hospital-grade sterilization (autoclave), and high-quality inks that meet Australian safety standards.

Frequently Asked Questions - About Piercings

Please reach us at lindentattoo@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

The pain depends on the location and your tolerance. Most people describe it as a quick pinch that lasts only a few seconds.

Healing time varies by location:

• Earlobe: Feels fine after 1–2 weeks, fully healed in 6–8 weeks.

• Ear cartilage: Surface healing in 2–4 weeks, fully healed in 3–9 months.

• Nose (nostril): Surface healing in 2–3 weeks, fully healed in 2–3 months.

• Lip: Surface healing in 1–2 weeks, fully healed in 2–3 months.

• Eyebrow: Surface healing in 2–3 weeks, fully healed in 2–3 months.

• Navel (belly button): Surface healing in 1–2 months, fully healed in 6–12 months.

Even if it looks healed on the outside, we recommend waiting until full healing before changing jewelry.

• Clean gently with a sterile saline solution (avoid alcohol/peroxide).

• Do not twist or rotate the jewelry unnecessarily.

• Avoid changing jewelry too early.

• Maintain good sleep, hydration, and hygiene for faster healing.

We only use implant-grade titanium, 14K/18K gold, or high-quality bioplast. These reduce the risk of allergic reactions and infection.

Mild redness and discharge are normal during healing. If you notice severe swelling, pus, or ongoing pain, stop using harsh products and contact us immediately. Do not remove the jewelry yourself, as it can trap infection inside—professional advice is essential.

Frequently Asked Questions - About Pico Laser Tattoo Removal

Please reach us at lindentattoo@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Pico laser technology delivers ultra-short bursts of energy to shatter pigment into tiny particles, which your body naturally processes and clears away. It is faster and gentler on the skin than traditional lasers.

It depends on tattoo size, color, depth, and skin type. On average, 4–10 sessions are needed, spaced 6–8 weeks apart. Lighter and smaller tattoos usually fade faster.

When performed professionally and with proper aftercare, most people do not develop noticeable scars. Individual healing responses vary depending on skin type and aftercare.

The sensation is often compared to a rubber band snapping against the skin. We can provide numbing cream or cooling air to minimize discomfort.

• Keep the area clean and avoid scratching.

• Apply healing ointment as directed.

• Avoid direct sun and hot baths/swimming.

• Do not tattoo over the treated area until fully healed.
